Arch-Hypocrite Mike Quigley Gave Away the Keys to Illinois Election Booths in 2006

 Image result for Election fraud

"I believe American citizens deserve to know what really happened during this past election."  Wee Mike Quigley in the Chicago Tribune Opinion June, 2017

This political pygmy, Mike Quigley, handed the keys to Cook County and Illinois Election Booths to Venezuela's Hugo Chaves on August 27, 2006.  I have written about this crime on Cook County voters since 2006.

If there is foreign collusion, Mike Quigley should have his pasty jowels under the hot--lights.  Mike Quigley, David Orr and Forrest Claypool stooged for Sequoia Systems' CEO  Jack Blaine.
The CEO and President of one of America's largest voting machine companies, Sequoia Voting Systems, gave both deceptive, and carefully selective answers in his reply to a letter sent earlier this year from two high-ranking officials in Chicago, according to documents recently obtained during an ongoing investigation by the Brad Blog.
Sequoia's chief executive, Jack Blaine, repeated knowingly false answers, at least three different times, in his January 18 response to Chicago Alderman Edward M. Burke and the Chair of Chicago's Board of Election Commissioners Langdon D. Neal. The pair had written to the company on January 11, expressing concerns about the truth behind Sequoia's claims that they had completely divested from their purportedly "former" parent company, Smartmatic, the Venezuelan-run firm with direct ties to Hugo Chavez and his government. Alternet 2008

No Chicago news outlet has bothered lighting the burners under this story - ever.  Both Chicago newspapers, two of its AM radio stations ( WGN & WBBM), WBEZ, WTTW, all of the three major television stations have dodged this Cook County collusion  story like it were a fentynal laced load of loud.https://herb.co/marijuana/news/loud-weed, because it will taint Obama's image, as well as make people want to look three times under every Cook County Democrat's wallet.

David Orr is seeking to retire, career grifter Forrest Claypool's paws were stuck in the CPS Cookie Jar and has gone to ground, but the dumbest cluck of the trio, Mike Quigley, sits on U.S. House Committees and shoots his mouth off on MSNBC.

The other day, Wee Mike blamed House Speaker Paul Ryan of enabling President Trump from being tied to the election fraud that He, Claypool and David Orr made possible in 2006.

Illinois election booths were hacked because Mike Quigley, Forrest Claypool and David Orr made it easier for foreign governments to do so - Russian, or Luxembourgers.

The Three Amigos of Election Fraud counted on a compliant and supine media.  They also count on indifferent Independents, disspasionate Democrats and reasonable Republicans to ignore their crimes.

So far, so good.

Cook County ( Orr, Claypool and Quigley) Opened the Door For Russian Collusion -

Shift Schiff and Papadopoulas! Which coin is under the walnut?  Three Card Monte?  Try three card-carrying Progressive stooges.

While everyone was glaring at Trump, three slight-of-hand artists and many others escaped the spotlight.

Retiring County Clerk David Orr, Disgraced CPS goniff Forrest Claypool and Congressman Mike Quigley should be under the Feds' big Sherlock Holmes looking-at-you glass.

It was this troika of trumps that forced the Sequoia Voting system upon voters in Cook County.  Now, after months of partisan play-acting on Russian collusion the Department of Homeland Security might have some  unvarnished answers for American citizens:

In January 2017, just weeks before leaving his post, Johnson declared the nation's electoral systems part of the nation's federally protected "critical infrastructure," a designation that applies to entities like the power grid that could be attacked. It made protecting the electoral systems an official duty of DHS.  But Johnson told NBC News he is now worried that since the 2016 election a lot of states have done little to nothing "to actually harden their cybersecurity."

Manfra said she didn't agree with Johnson's assessment. "I would say they have all taken it seriously."

NBC News reached out to the 21 states that were targeted. Five states, including Texas and California, said they were never attacked.

Manfra said she stands by the list, but also called it a "snapshot in time with the visibility that the department had at that time."

Twenty-one States are being scrutinized by DHS - Illinois is large in the study.   NBC and the vast wasteland of American news outlets attempted to paint President Trump's brogans into the corner of collusion.

That dog quit hunting weeks ago, but the scrutiny continues.

Last June, 2017, I detailed my thoughts, based upon reading Chicago newspapers, that point to three little hogs - Orr, Quigley and Claypool ( oh, there are others, like dependable Larry Suffredin) - whose muddy mulefeet appear all over Russian collusion going back to Obama's days in the U. S. Senate.Image result for david orr, Mike quigley and Forrest claypool cook county board

What say you, neighbor?

"Despite the intelligence community's assessment that Russia interfered in our presidential election, President Donald Trump and Republican leadership seem wholly uninterested in examining how and why Russia targeted us — and what we must do to prevent it from happening again.Recently, the intelligence committees in both the Senate and House announced bipartisan investigations into Russian hacking and election interference. As a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, I welcomed this announcement and take seriously my duty to follow the facts, wherever they lead. I support the investigation because I believe American citizens deserve to know what really happened during this past election."  Wee Mike Quigley in the Chicago Tribune Opinion

Donald Trump did not force the use of computer-voting on the voters of Cook County. You did, Mike Quigley. And this twerp is on the House Intelligence Committee? Vlad Putin could not have gotten into our election machines without buck-toothed Dave Orr, Forrest Claypool, Larry Sufredin and the good folks at Sequoia Voting Systems.
In 2006, Mike Quigley was one of the Progressive grifters. . .I mean Commissioners,  who worked with Cook County Clerk David Orr, at the behest of Help America Vote, Abner Mikva and friends, to weld suburban Cook County and Chicago voters together with Venezuelan voting machines.
The Sequoia Voting Machines, Help America Vote, Forrest Claypool, Venezuela and those rascally Russians are all part of our Progressive History.  Prior to the 2008 Election of the transformative Barack H. Obama, a huge fan of Venezuelan Tin-pot Dictator the late Hugo Chavez and voting began getting hacked without hanging chads, on-line and vulnerable.
That was 2006, when former Mayor and Cook County Clerk David Orr insisted that Cook County and City Elections operate the identical voting systems.
Only Cook County Commissioner Tony Perica objected.   The Chicago media and Progressive Democrats ( Forrest Claypool, Mike Quigley, Abner Mikva, Pat Quinn et al) had already branded Commissioner Perica as Mad as a Hatter.   After Forrest Claypool's arched brows and hound dog-sad facial features bespoke his 'concern' for voting in the traditional manner in support of the Orr initiative to force Sequoia Voting Machines on voters in not only Chicago, but suburban Cook County as a whole and ensure that the balance of Illinois votes would be cancelled out, Commissioner Sims shut Tony Perica's pie-hole and on-line voter fraud became a dream come true.
Dig this!
Commissioner Peraica inquired whether the March election used an “Optic Eagle.”
Clerk Orr replied in the negative.
Commissioner Peraica inquired whether Sequoia is traded on NASDAQ or adheres to public disclosure practices.
Mr. Blaine replied in the negative.
Commissioner Peraica inquired what technical problems existed with the machines deployed on election day, and what measures are being taken to fix them.
Mr. Blaine stated that they don’t know the number of technical problems yet.  He stated improvements will be made to the machines at no cost to the County.
Chairman Neal stated that while it is an option to hold the vendor responsible for payment for a consultant, at this time it is the responsibility jointly of Cook County and the City.  He further stated that he would inform the Cook County Board of Commissioners if his office plans to proceed with the hiring of a consultant.
Clerk Orr stated that the reason that an independent consultant would be retained would be to obtain a review that is made independently of the vendor.
Commissioner Peraica stated that the payment for elections judges is insufficient.  He further stated that Clem Balanoff, Director of Elections, indicated to him that the equipment had been certified with a software glitch uncorrected.
Mr. Balanoff replied that the glitch did not affect the accuracy of the result.
Commissioner Peraica inquired whether the Board will receive a report regarding the elections equipment scheduled to be leased for the November election.
Mr. Blaine replied that the Board will be receiving a report on the “Edge” and “Insight” machines as well as the firmware and hardware that support them.  Also, a mock election will be staged, and a report on this will be supplied to the Board.
Chairman Neal replied that he would try to obtain a detailed report from the State Board of Elections on the equipment being used in the November election.  He further stated that although typically the State Board of Elections does not publish detailed reports, he believes that this situation warrants it.
Commissioner Peraica inquired as to when Sequoia will furnish the County Board with a report addressing the number and nature of the technical problems possessed by the election equipment used in the March elections.
Mr. Blaine replied that the County Board will receive this report by July 1, 2006.
Commissioner Peraica inquired as to a suit filed against Sequoia in the state of Washington.
Mr. Blaine replied that that suit had been dropped.
Commissioner Sims inquired whether the equipment used by Cook County in the March elections is state-of-the-art.
Mr. Blaine replied in the affirmative.
Commissioner Sims inquired whether the software being used by the equipment in November will be compatible to any upgraded machines the County might move to.
Mr. Blaine replied in the affirmative.
Commissioner Sims inquired whether the equipment can be enhanced to accommodate any change in requirements that the government might impose.
Mr. Blaine replied that Sequoia cannot foresee what future requirements the government might impose.
Oh, Heavens no, Mr. Blaine!
Barack Obama became 44th President of the United States and Sequoia machines ensured his re-election?
Far-fetched?  Not really.  Venal Progressive Democrats and spineless Regular Democrats benefit.  Oligarchs ( Banks, Brokers, Real Estate Slum Dog Billionaires, Bombardier CTA Products, and joyful Castro Brothers, Tur Partners aka Richie Daley) benefit hugely.
Russian on-line hacking was only made possible by the grant of David Orr and Cook County Commissioners.
It seems logical to follow the money, but first run back to the 2006 in Cook County Illinois and wee Mike Quigley's part in the hacking of American elections.

Why Are 'Useful Idiots" Always Millionaires? From Bill Ayers to Jamie Foxx

Image result for jamie foxx with maduro
No Charmin for using, much less squeezing in Caracass, there Jamie!

Three-year-old Ashley Pacheco cries while receiving an injection as her mother Oriana watches at the University Hospital in Caracas, Venezuela in late August. Two weeks after Ashley scraped her knee, she was screaming in a hospital, fighting for her life as her family scoured Caracas for scarce antibiotics. Venezuela is running short on 85 per cent of basic medicines. As the health care system collapses, the tiniest slips, like a little girl?s tumble while chasing her brother, are turning into life-or-death crises. (Photo: AP)

“At this challenging time of President Hugo Chavez’s passing, the United States reaffirms its support for the Venezuelan people and its interest in developing a constructive relationship with the Venezuelan government. As Venezuela begins a new chapter in its history, the United States remains committed to policies that promote democratic principles, the rule of law, and respect for human rights.” President Obama 2013

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Actor Jamie Foxx has met with President Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela.
Foxx, who won the Oscar Award for "Ray" in 2004, visited Maduro in the presidential palace in Caracas. State media said Foxx was there to support the country's socialist revolution and attend the signing of an agreement between Venezuela and its allies for the construction of houses for the poor.
Foxx posed for photos with the deeply-unpopular president of the economically embattled South American country.
In a national address Tuesday, Maduro praised Foxx's work. Foxx hasn't commented publicly on what motivated his visit.
Several U.S. celebrities have visited Venezuela to support the country's socialist revolution over the years, including actors Sean Penn and Danny Glover.
In 2013, Hugo Chavez kicked the bucket and his apprentice Jefe Maduro took over Venezuela and in three years cork-screwed the population into the ground with miracle of socialism. For three years, the land of Chicago White Sox Hall of Famers Louis Aparicio and Oswaldo José "Ozzie" Guillén Barrios has been plagued with riots, toilet paper shortages empty food shelves and government elimination of human rights.

A three year old girl scrapped her knee and two weeks later, because of the Single Payer Health Care System of Hugo Care, the child was at death's door.  National Socialized Health Care - Compasinos!
This is because, ". . .President Chavez used oil money and foreign debt to fuel consumption and went on a campaign of nationalising private companies — more than 1,000 we are told — that his Government regarded as not working in the interest of the Venezuelan public.
But President Maduro, blinkered by his loyalty to Mr Chavez, has added to the problem, and his policies have taken Venezuela to the sad place it is today.
Surely, the people of this great country, which has the largest oil reserves in the world, deserve much better than this.
The question is: Do they have the will and stamina to continue opposing the Government and the State institutions that support it?"

Nah.

President Obama has not uttered word one about this tragedy on-going daily in South America.
Image result for bill ayers cutting cane cuba
Bill Ayers, a trust fund baby Terrorist of '60's turned "distinguished scholar of education" at University of Illinois Chicago Campus ( Cement City), cut his Marxist baby teeth on Cuban  sugar cane, on money his Daddy squeezed out of Commonwealth Edison users in Chicago.   I imagine the University of Michigan hemp toker had a swell time as Fidel's guest during this halcyon harvest of youth.  I rode the "L" to Loyola, until Jim Molloy offered rides from the south side, while he was in the Police Academy in senior year.

James " Molly" Molloy, like Dan "Sarah" Burns were two Leo High School bad asses given girl's names by  sisters who did not want baby brothers.  Molly became Chicago Police Department Deputy Superintendent under Superintendent Terry Hillard, Dan Burns became a real estate cartographer and engineer and Bill Ayers became a domestic terrorist all around the same time.  I became a high school teacher.

We all did pretty well.  Three of us worked at it and Bill Ayers was handed his and became a leading 'useful idiot.' America has always had useful idiots and almost to a person they were children of privilege - front of the liners, wealthy and not well-to-do.

John Reed
Roger Nash Baldwin
Lincoln Steffens
Armand Hammer
John Dewey
Jane Addams

Bill Ayers' Dad had clout aplenty and he needed his boy Bill's past laundered.  I believe Bill Ayers was laundered by Abner Mikva, Dr. Quentin Young, Richie Daley, Stan IkenberryAmalgamated Bank and many others.  In 2008, Bill Ayers' apprentice, Senator Barack Obama ran for and won the Office of President of the United States.  The grey whiskered cane-cutter of the 1960's, was snug on the Board of Directors of the Woods Fund. a Distinguished Scholar at Cement City and a frequent visitor of Bolivarista nations in South America, especially Dictator Hugo Chavez's Venezuela.

Gee, I think that just might be enough links.

Now, I read that Oscar winning actor, comic and TV ad Pitchman Jamie Foxx went down to Caracas to aid President Maduro in his time need and understanding." Foxx posed for photos with the deeply-unpopular president of the economically embattled South American country. In a national address Tuesday, Maduro praised Foxx's work. Foxx hasn't commented publicly on what motivated his visit."

That gives the guy a little wiggle room.  Just visiting a nation without any Charmin to use, let alone squeeze, I guess,

Rather, like the Hollywood clowns who preach about " The More You Know" on TV and shove political, cultural, religious and life-style opinions up the noses of the Americans who made them wealthy people, Jamie Foxx is tending to the 'the right side of history's" knitting.  No doubt for a fee.

The most strident voices for 'social transformation' never walk the walk.

Bill Ayers stayed in capitalist America.

Lenny DiCaprio jets to Global Worming screeds.

They are all pretty much useful idiots for whomever, whatever, or wherever what counts as genuine, historically accurate and true about America a bad thing.

They wear the Armani, drink the Clicquot, drive the Ferrari Sergio and fight the people who maintain all that is true, good and helpful to others.

The useful idiots from Roger Baldwin, to Bill Ayers, to Jamie Foxx will always be around, but they are never with us.

Hugo Smells at the UN "Él Que Olido Esto Trató Ello" Jefe

The Venezuelan Fat Boy is a head-scratcher boys and girls! This goof gets oxygen challenged American celebrities all 'Tingle Thighed' but us Helots don't get the boy's charms. Oliver Stone,Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte, Michael Moore, Susan Saranwrap, and Rosie O'Donnell are only a few of the Hollywood Extra Hugo Habitues and then the academic pipe-smokers and Salonistas naturally cling to dictators who ooze existential revolution. Everyone else - the folks who actually have meaningful lives and jobs that require attention and dedication - just seem to miss the appeal of Scent Hugo.

A couple of years ago, Hugo tried the Sulphur gambit in an attempt to punk GW Bush.

The other day, the Beardless Castro Endomorph cut one in praise of President Obama at the U.N. The Third World Fun House and Free Parking Exchange.

"It doesn't smell of sulfur. It's gone. It smells of something else. It smells of hope and you have hope in your heart," Chavez said during a rambling, 57-minute address where he mentioned close friend and former Cuban President Fidel Castro more than Obama or Bush."What would it be like in Latin America today if the Americans had not imposed their model with firepower and blood," he asked, referring to free-market polices implemented around the region. Later, he declared that "imperialism must end!"

Chavez also urged Obama to "come over to the socialist side. Come join the Axis of Evil over here." He was only half joking.

That can only signal more Hollywood Celebrities engaged in biting the bubbles in their bathtubs. Be like Hugo! Smell the Hope!

Que Revolto, Jefe!

McCain/Palin: Obama;Ayers; Hugo Chavez and Chinese & Russian Military Weapons

For all of the 'hard-hitting, scrappy and independent Chicago news hounds' - that would be John Kass and Tim Novak. How about a bit of 'investigative work' on Billy Ayers and community organizer Presidential would -be Barack Obama?

Let's root out the connection. Before you say that there is none - let's take a look at what is out in the public eye.

Here is the time-line for Barack Obama and his 'guy from the neighborhood' with the drag to close a University of Illinois Chicago library to an investigative journalist - Billy Boy Ayers.

1987 William Ayers meets Barack Obama

1988 Ayers solicits Khalid Al-Mansour to raise money for Obama's Harvard law School education

1989 Tom Ayers and William Ayers get Obama a summer job at Sidley & Austin (where he meets Michelle Obama); Ayers' wife Bernadine Dohrn also worked at Sidley at about the same time as Barack and Michelle.

1993 Ayers places Obama on Woods Foundation

1995 Ayers makes Obama Chairman of Annenberg Challenge

1995 Ayers hosts a coffee klatch for Obama's political debut (Obama falsely claims this is when he met Ayers)

2007-2008 The structure of Obama's presidential campaign increasingly comes to resemble an Ayers-designed national "community organizer matrix" straight out of Maoist theory. This is not merely a presidential "campaign." Obama's organization is the first installment of an ongoing movement being paid for with tax-exempt contributions to his campaign, approaching half a billion dollars.

2008Obama In response to ABC News, Obama tells a national TV audience he was "six years old" when Ayers bombed federal buildings, and they are only casual neighborhood acquaintances. A lie.

Okay, gritty news-hounds! Let's take the leash off! William Ayers has long been a conduit for Revolution through Hugo Chavez. Ayers 'adopted' kid works for Chavez. The Woods Fund records would be a nice source to follow the moeny from Woods Fund to 'community organizers' to Hugo Chavez* - the Man with Chevron Gas Stations right on South Western Ave. at about 49th Street! I'll bet that some COMMUNITY ORGANIZER - got the start up for that gas station and that it can be traced through the community developent LISC to Woods. BTW- try and track down any Chevron listings for Chicago. Go to work, newsies. Oh, that's right. Not allowed.

Americans will face Chinese and Russian made military aircraft in the Wetern Hemisphere. On Friday, I hope McCain goes for Obama's doughy belly on South America.

* El Jefe: Hugo Chavez -
Venezuela will buy combat and training aircraft from China this week, leftist Venezuela President Hugo Chavez confirmed in a television broadcast Sunday.
The purchases will be made as part of a six-country tour, Chavez said in his broadcast of the "Alo President" television program from the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, hours before leaving on a "strategic interest" trip to Cuba, China, Russia, Belarus, France and Portugal.

Chavez, a staunch foe of the US government, confirmed that during his stay in Beijing he will purchase 24 K-8 aircraft "to train fighter pilots." The planes could be part of Venezuela's air force by next year.

The president also confirmed that while in Beijing he will arrange the construction of tanker vessels in Chinese shipyards, with the aim of installing a shipyard in Venezuela in the near future.

These plans come in addition to the construction of a refinery in China to process oil from Venezuela, and plans to create a bi-national company to install a refinery in the remote oil-rich Orinoco region in eastern Venezuela.

Caracas provides 500,000 barrels of oil per day to Beijing, a trade which is expected to increase to one million barrels a day by 2012.

Chavez, who describes China as a strategic ally, will move forward with a six billion dollar bilateral investment fund. China will contribute four billion dollars to the fund, and Venezuela two billion dollars.

Caracas will use the fund for "socialist productive projects."

"Before we had to go to Washington to beg for money. Not now. Now we negotiate with the Chinese," said Chavez.

Chavez announced that during his visit to Beijing the investment fund will benefit from an additional four billion dollars for further "development" in Venezuela.

After China, Chavez will head to Moscow.

Venezuela in recent years has been broadening its military ties to Moscow, and Chavez backed Russia in the recent Georgian conflict.

Last week, Russian supersonic Tu-160 bombers for the first time flew training runs with Venezuela in an area of the Caribbean traditionally considered the US military's sphere of influence.

Chavez's trip is expected to last until September 27.

John McCain: Obama wrong on Colombia, FARC, Ayers, Dohrn, and American Interests in General

John McCain returned from Colombia and three Americans and a Colombian Presidential candidate held by Marxist FARC terrorists fro six years were freed by Columbia's military with American assistance.

Senator Obama is wrong on America's Free Trade Agreement with Colombia, which is fighting Venezuela's dictator Hugo Chavez for the liberty of South American democracies - Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Brazil are all in danger from Chavez's ambitions for a Marxist Continent.

William Ayers has been and continues to be an influence on Obama. Ayers has a long history with Chavez.

From American Thinker:

Obama may already be working with Hugo Chavez and the narco-war against Colombia. Colombian troops March 1 nailed narco-guerilla leader Raul Reyes just across the border in Ecuador. In response, Chavez threatened to invade Columbia. Information on a laptop computer found with Reyes' corpse detailed the FARC guerillas'relations with both Venezuela and Ecuador and included a February 28 letter from Reyes to the FARC Secretariat. The letter details extensive FARC relations with the governments of Colombia and Ecuador and includes this item:

"The gringos called for a meeting with the minister to ask him to tell us they are interested in talking about several topics. They claim they new president in their country will be Obama and that these people are interested in their fellow citizens. Obama will support neither Plan Colombia nor the signature of the Free Trade Agreement. In this regard, we replied we are interested in relations with the governments that are on equal grounds and that in the case of the United States, a public statement voicing their interest in talking to the FARC is needed, given their eternal war against us."

As Reyes predicted, on April 10 Democrats in Congress blocked enactment of a free trade treaty with Colombia -- in spite of the fact that Colombian exports are already allowed into the US without tariffs. Obama opposed the treaty, winning denunciation by Colombian president Uribe.

Obama is wrong - he is a Progressive Windsock. Obama is wrong on the Surge; he is wrong on Colombian Free Trade; Obama is dead wrong on Chavez and Senator Obama is wrong for the Office of President of the United States.

Barack Obama has had the wrong tutors ( Tony Rezko, Allison Davis, whose son Cullen is being sued for the wrongful death of three year old Curtis Cooper, Fr. Mike Pfleger, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and the dious couple of unrepentant terrorists Bernadine Dorhn and William Ayers) and he listened to them with rapt attention.

Pay attention to Senator Obama.

Pay attention to John McCain. In the days to come the man who roughed up a Sandinista jefe back in the 1980's* will prove to be more than right on Colombia - just as he has been on the Surge.

*
The two senators have made peace since the remarks. Cochran said McCain included him on a recent campaign visit to Meridian. He told the Sun Herald on Monday that McCain, whose ancestors lived in north Mississippi, is the best man for the job.

But Cochran said he observed McCain engage in a physical confrontation with a Sandinista while participating in a diplomatic mission led by Sen. Bob Dole and others in the fall of 1987. Cochran, McCain - who had won election to the Senate that year - and other members of a bipartisan committee of lawmakers called the Central American Negotiations Observer Group - met with Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, head of the left-wing political party known as Sandinistas, about tensions in the region.

The atmosphere was tense, as the U.S. was pressing "pretty hard." Cochran noticed a disturbance at the meeting table in a room lined with armed personnel.

"McCain was down at the end of the table and we were talking to the head of the guerilla group here at this end of the table and I don't know what attracted my attention," Cochran said. "But I saw some kind of quick movement at the bottom of the table and I looked down there and John had reached over and grabbed this guy by the shirt collar and had snatched him up like he was throwing him up out of the chair to tell him what he thought about him or whatever. I don't know what he was telling him but I thought, good grief, everybody around here has got guns and we were there on a diplomatic mission. I don't know what had happened to provoke John but he obviously got mad at the guy and he just reached over there and snatched him."

No punches were thrown and the two sat back down, Cochran said. The man, who appeared ruffled after the confrontation with McCain, was an Ortega associate, but Cochran said he was unsure of his identity.

Flash-forward 21 years. Tuesday, McCain was traveling in Central America and he stopped in Colombia. In 2006 Ortega won his office back after losing a 1990 election.

John McCain: Teddy Roosevelt/McCain v. Imperialism/Marxism in Venezuela

I had several great history teachers ( Tom Fanning and Fr. John Gavin O.S.A. in high school and Fr. Ronan, S.J and Dr. Larry McCaffery at Loyola University. Of all the American Presidents, Teddy Roosevelt was mu favorite. The Big Stick Policy ( adapted from a West African aphorism and applied to American Foreign Policy) gave rise to the Roosevelt Corollary to The Monroe Doctrine: America would intervene anywhere in the Western Hemisphere to insure protection of American interests. Lefties like to call this Imperialism or, if they feel generous, Paternalism.

Dismissing with a wave of my two-by-four any added Ward Churchillian litanies of American bully atrocities, let's just agree that America played played fair in its own backyard.

In 1902, the Leader of Venezuela was a tin-pot cattle rustler with a private army by the name of Cipriano Castro - a real piece of work. When not looting his country six ways to Sunday, he was borrowing oodles of boodle from bankers in Great Britain, Germany and Italy. Like most deadbeats the foreign powers sent the fleets to make Cipriano buck up.

Kaiser Bill's Fleet in a display of uproarious German humor bombarded a few harbors.

Teddy dispatched Admiral Dewey and the Great White Fleet out of Caribbean and tipped off Kaiser Bill that the guy who sent Spain's Navy to the bottom of Briny deep was more than temperamentally inclined to toss some ordinance over the bow of Kriegsmarine- Carib. Theme Squareheads were along way from a friendly coal station and the Panama Canal was Teddy's Pet Project.

The Germans, The Brits, the Italians and later the Dutch were served up the payoff by The Hague.

Teddy controlled Imperialism and walked it out of the Caribbean and the Western Hemisphere - Kaiser Bill did not learn and his Zimmerman Note helped bring America into WWI and himself into Dutch retirement.

Teddy Roosevelt had only to contend with foreign Imperial powers. Back then, the losing Party were loyal opposition. They had Teddy's back. Not so today.

Today, the opposition talks about a President with whom they disagree and violently disrespect, like an obnoxious drunk talks about the woman he married like she was a pathetic and miserable as himself. Suckers beef. The loudmouth does little to make a happy home for his kids and the poor girl who married him, for better or worse, but likes the sound of his own voice.

America ( which includes our loudmouth opinion Alkies)has to contend with Marxists in power in South America and Cuba and their fan club comprised of elite American Progressives - who happen to control Moveon.org, Daily Kos, Huffington Post, MSNBC, the DNC and Senator Barack Obama.

I read an interesting take on the sharp differences between Obama and McCain by a young guy from Georgia named Jeff O'Bryant. Here's what Jeff writes:

Fidel Castro recently praised Obama for his “great intelligence,” “debating skills” and “work ethic” and wrote that Obama is “the most progressive candidate to the U.S. presidency.” So Obama is the favorite choice of Castro, a Communist dictator that has been responsible for thousands of human rights abuses.

Castro realizes he has nothing to fear from Obama.

Hugo Chavez didn’t exactly endorse Obama when he recently claimed that Venezuela’s relations with Washington would worsen if McCain were elected. “Sometimes one says, ‘worse than Bush is impossible,’ but we don’t know,” Chavez said, according to Reuters. “McCain also seems to be a man of war.” Still, even lacking an outright statement of support, Chavez, the authoritarian communist who has trampled basic rights, severely weakened both Venezuela’s economy and democracy, and helped to destabilize global oil prices, would rather see Obama than McCain in the White House.

Chavez realizes he has nothing to fear from Obama.

Obviously, we do not want the whole world to fear us. But the fate of Saddam as an example of the good U.S. power can do in the world is not lost on those of a like kind, an example Obama clearly isn’t prepared and indeed has no inclination to make of others. He has offered to talk with no preconditions. Like Neville Chamberlain meeting with Hitler, Obama has no idea what he is doing.

I fully agree Jeff; Senator Obama and Neville are both snappy dressers and given to chatting up bounders. I believe that John McCain would take a busted beer bottle to Hugo - Que Hombre!

Way back last Spring the Tinhorn Later-day Cipriano Castro, Hugo Chavez, who is bankrupting his country in way that would make the loutish Castro envious, stated his fear and hatred of John McCain.

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a socialist and fierce U.S. critic, warned on Tuesday that relations with Washington could worsen if Republican candidate John McCain wins this year's presidential election.

Chavez said he hopes the United States and Venezuela can work better together when his ideological foe, U.S. President George W. Bush, leaves the White House next year, but he said McCain seemed "warlike."

"Sometimes one says, 'worse than Bush is impossible,' but we don't know," Chavez told foreign correspondents. "McCain also seems to be a man of war."

Chavez -- who has called Bush "the devil", "a donkey" and 'Mr Danger" -- accuses the United States of having imperial designs in Latin America and says the White House has plotted his overthrow.

McCain calls Chavez a dictator who wants to emulate retired Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

Although Venezuela remains a key supplier of oil to the United States, relations have steadily deteriorated since Bush took office in 2001.

Chavez is an outspoken critic of the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and has accused Washington of stirring unrest in Tibet to destabilize China.

Obama would sit down for coffee with Caudillo Chavez. John McCain would let Chavez and any other tyrant - in the Americas, Asia or the Middle East - learn American History - The Roosevelt Corollary and the McCain Principles: Straight Talk and Matching Methods for Good Folks and the Occasional Louses.

John McCain: Chavez, Castro & Morales - Ayers' Pep Boys of Revolution

We have backyard problems that Senator Barack Obama seems incapable of handling. In South America, Fidel Castro's pup, Jefe Hugo Chavez has made a path to Communism in South and Central America unparalleled since the 1950's when the Soviet Union brokered World Revolution.

Yesterday, Reuters reported on an assault of the U.S. Embassy in La Paz, Bolivia by 'protesters' orchestrated by Bolivian President Evo Morales - the Amerindian Strongman.

Morales is a charismatic leftist who has managed to Balkanize Bolivia by 'championing' Diversity!

Evo Morales has declared himself the first Amerindian president, a controversial claim due to the Amerindian heritages of such prior Bolivian presidents as Mariano Melgarejo (1864), Carlos Quintanilla (1939), René Barrientos (1964), Juan José Torres (1976), Luis García Meza (1980), and Celso Torrelio Villa (1981).[citation needed] While the claim is a potent symbol to many people who have seen themselves as disenfranchised and oppressed by a European minority, this claim has been challenged publicly by the novelist Mario Vargas Llosa,[65] who accuses Evo of fomenting racial divisions in an increasingly mestizo Latin America.

The Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano responded to Vargas Llosa saying: "I see what is happening in Bolivia as a very significant act of affirmation of diversity [which is opposite to] racism, elitism and militarism, which leave us blind to our marvellous existence, to that rainbow that we are".[66]

However, on June 3rd, Morales sought to defeat a vote giving indidvidual states in Bolivia autonomy - Celebrating Autonomy is one thing but Democarcy quite another to Jefe Morales:

LA PAZ, Bolivia - The fractious outcome of a vote on autonomy for Bolivia's states and the government's apparent failure to win enough backing to rewrite the constitution could dampened the leftist agenda of President Evo Morales.

Voters in Bolivia casts ballots on both issues Sunday. The wealthier eastern half overwhelmingly endorsed autonomy while those in the poorer and heavily indigenous western highlands, Morales power base, vigorously rejected it.

The results make it likely that Morales will face stiffer opposition as he seeks to improve the lot of Bolivia's Indian majority by more evenly distributing wealth and exerting greater state control over the economy.

An Aymara Indian and coca-growers leader elected in December with a strong populist mandate, Morales campaigned against autonomy, saying it would benefit the traditional elite.

He and his Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) party were able to persuade most voters - 55 percent nationwide according to unofficial results - to reject autonomy by portraying it as a catastrophic harbinger of dissolution for South America's poorest country.

Morales said that he would respect the outcome of the autonomy vote, but that no state would be permitted to gain control of natural resources such as natural gas.

But the endorsement of greater political and fiscal autonomy by voters in Bolivia's wealthiest states could slow Morales' political crusade, particularly if those states succeed in keeping a greater portion of their tax revenues at the central government's expense.

Morales has articulated the driving force behind MAS ( (Movimiento al Socialismo - Move Toward Socialism) in the following terms:

“ The worst enemy of humanity is U.S. capitalism. That is what provokes uprisings like our own, a rebellion against a system, against a neoliberal model, which is the representation of a savage capitalism. If the entire world doesn't acknowledge this reality, that nation states are not providing even minimally for health, education and nourishment, then each day the most fundamental human rights are being violated. ”

He has also stated:

“ … the ideological principles of the organization, anti-imperialist and contrary to neoliberalism, are clear and firm but its members have yet to turn them into a programmatic reality.[21]

Protesters shot fireworks at a U.S. flag flying just beyond the compound's concrete wall, as helmeted Marines looked on from the embassy's roof. When crowds tried to push through a police line, officers cleared the street with tear gas.

Bolivia's government called the use of tear gas excessive. "Security is one thing, repression is another," Government Minister Alfredo Rada told reporters.

La Paz state's police commander was fired Monday night along with top policemen in Bolivia's eight other states. But government officials said the change had been planned since a new national police chief was named last month.

The 2003 "Black October" protests were initially sparked by a government plan to sell Bolivian natural gas to the United States by building a pipeline through neighboring rival Chile. The idea angered El Alto's poor, who often struggle to obtain their own gas for cooking and heating.

The protests quickly snowballed as the city's largely Aymara Indian population vented centuries of anger over bitter poverty and political marginalization.

The uprising eventually drove then-President Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada from office, fortifying a growing indigenous political movement that brought President Evo Morales to power two years later.

Sanchez Berzain's lawyer, Howard Gutman, declined Monday to confirm whether his client has been granted political asylum. But he and other lawyers acknowledge and cite Sanchez Berzain's asylum status in a motion filed last month in a Miami federal court to dismiss a U.S. civil case against him.

Accusations of deadly force
Plaintiffs, including families of the 2003 victims, accuse the former defense minister and the ex-president of authorizing the use of deadly force against protesters and say they are liable for the deaths.

Lawyers for the two exiled politicians say protesters instigated the violence and that their blockade of La Paz, which cut the capital off from food and fuel, justified a military response.

Their legal team includes Washington attorney Greg Craig, an adviser to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Asked for comment, Phillip Goldberg, the U.S. ambassador to Bolivia, said the legal proceeding is "not a political matter, it's a judicial matter, and we have to respect the independent judicial branch in the United States."

President Evo Morales repeated his demands that Washington send the two men home to face trial.

"We want the United States to help us to bring to justice those who have done so much harm to Bolivia," Morales said Sunday.

John McCain: Hugo Will Bully Lugo - Paraguay a Keystone in Democracy

While Americans ( Norte Americanos) up here in the Great Forty-Eight, with Alaska and Hawaii of course, parse gotcha phrases, gerundives and sentences,Rezko, Ayers, Wright, & etc., there is some serious history taking shape in South America.

Paraguay elected a Marxist Liberation Theology ( dish watered by Rev. Wright) and former Catholic Bishop Fernando Lugo as its President. Paraguay holds the energy keys to Brazil in the form of Hydro-Electric Power. Brazil has resisted the ministrations of Hugo Chavez who nationalized Venezuelan natural resources. Brazil and Paraguay are eye-ball to eye-ball over surplus electric power. Fernando Lugo seems close to Chavez.

Paraguay is the tipping point in the South American 'Pink Tide' that has swept Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina and other South American nations and seriously threatens Columbia.

The candidates for President need to address this coming flash point in the struggle for Democracy - Paraguay will be huge.

Here is a Wikpedia Sketch of President Lugo:

Fernando Armindo Lugo Méndez is a Paraguayan politician who won the April 2008 presidential election and is therefore president-elect of Paraguay.

A Roman Catholic bishop, he is associated with the Socialist International through the APC-coalition's Revolutionary Febrerista Party. He had requested laicization in order to run for office. However, the Holy See refused the request on the grounds that Bishops could not undergo laicization, and also denied him the requested canonical permission to run for civil elected office.[2] Subsequently following his declaration of candidacy, the Holy See imposed on him the penalty of suspension from the discharge of the ordained ministry, but did not dismiss him from the clerical state.[3]

John McCain is the only candidate with a clear policy on Latin America and directly points to the impact Paraguay will have on stability and peace in our Western Hemisphere.

John McCain: Ayers' Jefe, Hugo Chavez, Goes Joe Stalin on Opposition

Barack Obama's Radical Rabbi and Commie Chinaman, that Old Timey Chicago Clout Comrade Billy 'The Bomber' Ayers pledged this to Jefe Chavez:

President Hugo Chavez, Vice-President Vicente Rangel, Ministers Moncada and Isturiz, invited guests, comrades. I’m honored and humbled to be here with you this morning. I bring greetings and support from your brothers and sisters throughout North America. Welcome to the World Education Forum! Amamos la revolucion Bolivariana!

This is my fourth visit to Venezuela, each time at the invitation of my comrade and friend Luis Bonilla, a brilliant educator and inspiring fighter for justice. Luis has taught me a great deal about the Bolivarian Revolution and about the profound educational reforms underway here in Venezuela under the leadership of President Chavez. We share the belief that education is the motor-force of revolution, and I’ve come to appreciate Luis as a major asset in both the Venezuelan and the international struggle—I look forward to seeing how he and all of you continue to overcome the failings of capitalist education as you seek to create something truly new and deeply humane. Thank you, Luis, for everything you’ve done.

Well, Billy, Old Hugo is doing just a bang-up job of getting a Joe Stalin Style Revolucion right here in the Western Hemisphere. Today's Washington Post reports of Chavez going all Joe Stalin on political opposition.

BTW- Washington Post Obama apologist Dana Milbanks stated that he was going to expose the falsehoods behind postings, like my own, that point out the serious nature of Barack Obama's long and unexamined relationship and association with domestic terrorist Billy Ayers:

Dana Milbank: Okay, folks, thanks for paying attention to this technology-shortened chat. I'm off to expose the Obama/Hawaii/Communist story. Speak to you again when I return to planet earth.

Look to Ayers/Chavez Link! Senator Obama's Foreign Minister - Without-Patriotism

Now INTERPOL has analyzed computers found during the Ecuadorean raid, they have concluded that Chavez and his leadership is doing just what our allies have claimed. We reported on this computer find from Bogota’ and on the tensions between Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela about 6 weeks ago and now this determination places blame directly on Chavez. I have been getting e-mails from contacts inside Venezuela claiming this same connection and believe it or not, some of these folks are desperate for the world to take notice of their opposition to their leader and even hope (in some cases) that the United States will list Venezuela as a ‘State Sponsor of Terrorism’.

. . .Florida's Congressman Connie Mack Had this to say about the Interpol unmasking of Chavez are a rogue State dictator actively engaging in terrorism,

“Today’s report sheds another bright light on the active efforts of Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez and his cronies to promote terror and instability throughout Latin America. He has used his vast oil wealth to fund terrorism in the region and make mischief in order to undermine democratic institutions and principles in Colombia and other countries.

“Because of his allegiances to rogue nations like Iran and Syria, and the evidence conclusively tying Chavez to the highest levels of the FARCterrorist organization, I introduced a resolution two months ago calling on the Administration to add Venezuela to the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

“Today’s developments once again show the need for the State Department to fully recognize the very real threat that Chavez and his allies pose toLatin America and the Western Hemisphere and to impose real and targeted sanctions on the government of Venezuela.

“These sanctions will cripple the ability of the Chavez regime to fund its terrorist friends and allies and will strengthen the stability of the Andean region. Most importantly, tough sanctions will help in the effort to preserve freedom, security and prosperity for all of Latin America.

“It is imperative for the Administration to take these important steps without delay. Latin America is at a crossroads. We need strong leadership now in the United States and across Latin America to confront tyranny and to preserve and strengthen democracy throughout the region. The people ofVenezuela, and indeed all of Latin America, deserve nothing less.”

Hyde Park's Insulated Terrorist and Educator-Manque Billy Ayers had this to say about Hugo Chavez:November 7, 2006
Centro Interncional Miranda
Caracas, Venezuela

November , 2006
President Hugo Chavez, Vice-President Vicente Rangel, Ministers Moncada and Isturiz, invited guests, comrades. I’m honored and humbled to be here with you this morning. I bring greetings and support from your brothers and sisters throughout Northamerica.

I also thank my youngest son, Chesa Boudin, who is interpreting my talk this morning and whose book on the Bolivarian revolution has played an important part in countering the barrage of lies spread by the U.S. State Department and the corrupted Northamerican media.
On my last trip to Caracas I spoke of traveling to a literacy class—Mission Robinson— in the hills above the city along a long and winding road. As we made our way higher and higher, the talk turned to politics as it inevitably does here, and someone noted that the wealthy—here and everywhere, here and in the US surely—have certain received opinions, a kind of absolute judgment about poor and working people, and yet they have never traveled this road, nor any road like it. They have never boarded this bus up into these hills, and not just the oligarchy or the wealthy—this lack of first-hand knowledge, of open investigation, of generous regard is also a condition of the everyday liberals, and even many of the radicals and armchair intellectuals whose formulations sit lifeless and stifling in a crypt of mythology about poor people. Everyone should come and travel these roads into the hills, we agreed then—and not just once, but again and again and again – if they will ever learn anything of the real conditions of life here, surely, but more important than that, if they will ever encounter the wisdom and experience and insight that lives here as well.

We arrived at eight o’clock to a literacy circle already underway being conducted in a small, poorly-lit classroom. And here in an odd and dark space, a sun was shining: ten people had pulled their chairs close together—a young woman maybe 19, a grandmother maybe 65, two men in their 40s—each struggling to read. And I thought of a poem called A Poor Woman Learns to Write by Margaret Atwood about a woman working laboriously to print her name in the dirt. She never thought she could do it, the poet notes, not her– this writing business was for others. But she does it, prints her name, her first word so far, and she looks up and smiles— for she did it right.

The woman in the poem—just like the students in Mission Robinson—is living out a universal dialectic that embodies education at its very best: she wrote her name, she changed herself, and she altered the conditions of her life. As she wrote the word, she changed the world, and another world became—suddenly and surprisingly—possible.

I began teaching when I was 20 years old in a small freedom school affiliated with the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. The year was 1965, and I’d been arrested in a demonstration. Jailed for ten days, I met several activists who were finding ways to link teaching and education with deep and fundamental social change. They were following Dewey and DuBois, King and Helen Keller who wrote: “We can’t have education without revolution. We have tried peace education for 1,900 years and it has failed. Let us try revolution and see what it will do now.”

I walked out of jail and into my first teaching position—and from that day until this I’ve thought of myself as a teacher, but I’ve also understood teaching as a project intimately connected with social justice. After all, the fundamental message of the teacher is this: you can change your life—whoever you are, wherever you’ve been, whatever you’ve done, another world is possible. As students and teachers begin to see themselves as linked to one another, as tied to history and capable of collective action, the fundamental message of teaching shifts slightly, and becomes broader, more generous: we must change ourselves as we come together to change the world. Teaching invites transformations, it urges revolutions small and large. La educacion es revolucion!
I taught at first in something like a Simoncito—called Head Start—and eventually taught at every level in barrios and prisons and insurgent projects across the United States. I learned then that education is never neutral. It always has a value, a position, a politics. Education either reinforces or challenges the existing social order, and school is always a contested space – what should be taught? In what way? Toward what end? By and for whom? At bottom, it involves a struggle over the essential questions: what does it mean to be a human being living in a human society?

Totalitarianism demands obedience and conformity, hierarchy, command and control. Royalty requires allegiance. Capitalism promotes racism and militarism – turning people into consumers, not citizens. Participatory democracy, by contrast, requires free people coming together voluntarily as equals who are capable of both self-realization and, at the same time, full participation in a shared political and economic life.

Education contributes to human liberation to the extent that people reflect on their lives, and, becoming more conscious, insert themselves as subjects in history. To be a good teacher means above all to have faith in the people, to believe in the possibility that people can create and change things. Education is not preparation for life, but rather education is life itself ,an active process in which everyone— students and teachers– participates as co-learners.

Despite being under constant attack from within and from abroad, the Bolivarian revolution has made astonishing strides in a brief period: from the Mission Simoncito to the Mission Robinson to the Mission Ribas to the Mission Sucre, to the Bolivarian schools and the UBV, Venezuelans have shown the world that with full participation, full inclusion, and popular empowerment, the failings of capitalist schooling can be resisted and overcome. Venezuela is a beacon to the world in its accomplishment of eliminating illiteracy in record time, and engaging virtually the entire population in the ongoing project of education.

The great Chilean poet Pablo Neruda wrote a poem to his fellow writers called “The Poet’s Obligation” in which he instructed them in their core responsibility: you must, he said, become aware of your sisters and brothers who are trapped in subjugation and meaninglessness, imprisoned in ignorance and despair. You must move in and out of windows carrying a vision of the vast oceans just beyond the bars of the prison– a message of hope and possibility. Neruda ends with this: it is through me that freedom and the sea will call in answer to the shrouded heart.

Let those of us who are gathered here today read this poem as “The Teacher’s Obligation.” We, too, must move in and out of windows, we, too, must build a project of radical imagination and fundamental change. Venezuela is poised to offer the world a new model of education– a humanizing and revolutionary model whose twin missions are enlightenment and liberation. This World Education Forum provides us a unique opportunity to develop and share the lessons and challenges of this profound educational project that is the Bolivarian Revolution.

Viva Mission Sucre!
Viva Presidente Chavez!
Viva La Revolucion Bolivariana!
Hasta La Victoria Siempre!
